    TAYLOR COUNTY RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD (TCRAB) MEMBER
    This is a demanding volunteer position that meets regularly to discuss operations of the Taylor County Sports Complex. TCRAB members must be a registered voter of Taylor County and a current resident of the County. Appointees are representatives of all sports played at the County Sports Complex including, but not limited to, soccer, football, baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, and users of the trail.

    Suwannee River Water Management District Declaration of Phase II Water Shortage
    The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) has issued a Phase II Water Shortage Order, WSO 26-002 for water uses within all Counties located in the District, including all locations in Alachua and Levy counties, excluding the cities of Gainesville, Micanopy, and Hawthorne located in Alachua County.

    NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR
    STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
    The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners, in conformance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), Florida Statutes 287.055 et. seq. and the policies and procedures of Taylor County, is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications from professional firms that are interested in providing professional services for the STEINHATCHEE COMMERCIAL SEAFOOD FACILITY PLANNING AND FEASIBILITY STUDY PROJECT IN TAYLOR COUNTY, FLORIDA.
    Qualified firms or individuals desiring to provide the requested services must submit their bid package in an envelope or similar package marked: Sealed bids for “STEINHATCHEE COMMERCIAL SEAFOOD FACILITY PLANNING AND FEASBILITY STUDY PROJECT IN TAYLOR COUNTY, FLORIDA” to the Clerk of Court, 1st Floor Courthouse, 108 North Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida 32347 to arrive no later than 4:00 pm local time, on August 14, 2026. All bids MUST have name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted. Bids will be opened and respondents announced at 6:00 pm local time, or as soon thereafter as practical, on August 18, 2026 at the Taylor County Administrative Complex, 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347. ALL SOQs MUST have the respondent’s name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted. Respondent should submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of the SOQ.
    SOQ information can be downloaded from the Taylor County website at https://www.taylorcountygov.com.
    The County reserves the right, in its sole absolute discretion, to reject any or all SOQS, to cancel or withdraw this request For SOQs at any time or waive any irregularities in the SOQ process. The County reserves the right to award any contract(s) to the Respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service. The County, in its sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to waive minor defects in the process and to accept the SOQ deemed to be in the County’s best interest. NO FAXED SOQ’s WILL BE ACCEPTED.
