Walker will return as guest speaker at library July 27

On Monday, July 27, the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will proudly present Christian fiction author Delores Leggett Walker as their guest speaker.

Walker, who currently lives and writes in Mayo, also works with a group of creative authors in Mayo called “Writers Ink.”

She is the author of 11 books, most of which are Christian fiction.

Her latest book, “Tess” is the seventh book in the “Destiny Diaries” series.

“Tess” is an emotional fictional story of a young lady who is searching for the parents she believes abandoned her at birth.

The meeting will be held at the library, located at 403 N. Washington Street, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., and a door prize will be given away.

Copies of the 20th annual Short Story Contest books are now on sale at the Taylor County Public Library for $5 each.
