Marty Bryant Morgan

Marty Bryant Morgan, 63, of New Kent, Va., and formerly of Perry, went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryant Washington Morgan and Marguerite Morgan; and his sister, Wanda Morgan Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife, Rosanna Magsumbol Morgan; children, Bryanna Shelby Morgan, Zoey Wren Morgan and Amber Rae Morgan; and sisters, Janice M. Whiddon (Darrell) and Sharon Smith (Jimmy), both of Perry.

Marty was a man of many passions who lived life to the fullest.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved the thrill of riding his four-wheeler and the quiet patience of hunting.

He had a deep appreciation for music, especially rock and roll, and cherished every opportunity to travel and explore with his family.

A true enthusiast of coastal flavors, he was well-known for his love of seafood and his talent for cooking a delicious pot of gumbo for family and friends.

He will be deeply missed.

Graveside services were held Thursday, July 16, at 3 p.m., at Amelia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia Court House, Va.
