    Tillman receives ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at FACTE 100th anniversary gala

    “Some people build programs. Others build people.” That was the high praise shared by Jodi Tillman’s peers, who honored her with a “Lifetime Achievement Award.” The prestigious award was presented during the Florida Association for Career & Technical Education’s 100th anniversary gala held last week in Orlando. Tillman’s family — who managed to keep the honor a secret prior to the ceremony –joined her at the event.

    Former longtime Big Bend Technical College (BBTC) director Jodi Tillman was awarded the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Florida Association for Career & Technical Education’s (FACTE) 100th anniversary gala held Tuesday, July 14, in Orlando.
