City donates property surrounding Dorsett

Wrapping up a process that began more than two years ago, the City of Perry finalized the transfer of 15.48 acres of “surplus property” surrounding Dorsett Stadium and Pace Field to the Taylor County School District as part of major long-term sports facility upgrade being proposed by Superintendent of Schools Reggie Wentworth.
