Ina Glennis McMillan, 98, of Ocala passed onto Glory, Monday, July 20, 2026.
She was born in Perry to Jim and Ellen Amanda Tedder Young.
Her siblings were: Earl Walter Young, John Pasco Young, Mavis Young, Wistalone Young Brannan, John Rufus Young, Kenneth Delaney Young, Betty Pearl Pitts Courtney, Ruby Merle Pitts Dugal and Elmer Pitts Jr.
Mrs. McMillan attended Taylor County Schools, graduated from Columbia Bible College, was married to George McMillan (deceased) for 69 years, was a T.E.A.M. missionary in Pakistan for 25 years and active in numerous churches for 70-plus years.
She especially enjoyed telling Bible stories to children and participated in Vacation Bible School into her 90’s.
Mrs.McMillan is survived by: her children, Sam and (Emma) McMillan, Mirim and (David) Prescott, Peter and (Sharon) McMillan, Michael and (Carol) McMillan, and Priscilla and (Ralph) Milo; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bible study, scripture memorization and singing hymns were her primary passions.
She possessed a very compassionate heart.
Mrs. McMillan touched the lives of many people, throughout the world.
The memorial praise service to the God she adored will be on Saturday, Aug. 15, at St. John’s Fellowship Church, in Perry. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., the service from 11 a.m. to noon and a luncheon from noon-1 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Graveside services for friends and family will be held at Oakland Baptist Church from 2-3 p.m.
