New school site eyed by district

The Taylor County School District has begun negotiations for property to site a new Perry Primary School (PPS) should its request for state funding assistance be approved later this year.

“We are looking in the vicinity of where Taylor County Elementary School is,” Superintendent Paul Dyal.
