Groundbreaking set Aug. 4 at Camp Cherry Lake

Campers, alumni, families, community members and supporters are invited to join Florida 4-H and the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) at Camp Cherry Lake on Tuesday, Aug. 4, for a ceremonial groundbreaking celebration to initiate the next phase of facility improvements.

The groundbreaking will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the camp, which is located at 3861 NE Cherry Lake Circle in Madison.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 1 p.m., with the ceremonial program beginning at 1:40 p.m. and groundbreaking to commence at 2 p.m.
