TCSO-School negotiations hit wall over school resource officer contract

School Resource Officer (SRO) contract talks between the school district and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) hit a wall Tuesday when TCSO officials refused to grant a time extension for the contract deadline (Friday, July 31) and stood firm on a proposed $90,000 annual increase.
