Commission hit with 37% health insurance hike

The Taylor County Commission will hold a special meeting next Tuesday, Aug. 11, to determine the future of the county’s employee health insurance program, after initially facing a 37% premium hike – an increase that would cost the county around $1.2 million on top of the $3 million it already pays for the policy.
