With Monday’s storm dropping as much as seven inches of rain on much of central and southern Taylor County, county crews are still working to repair damage to roadways and a number of residents still have large amount of water in their yards.
“Water is standing where it usually collects, but the ground is so saturated, it’s staying around longer,” Taylor County Emergency Management Director Dustin Hinkel said Thursday.
