With the completion of a new round of survey work, Taylor County is one step closer to being able to re-advertise for bids on the canal dredging project.
County officials are awaiting the results of new surveys of the Keaton Beach canals that will provide a more accurate measure of the amount of sediment that must be removed as part of the county’s planned canal dredging project in the wake of hurricanes Idalia, Debby and Helene.
