A suspect who is believed to have robbed two Live Oak banks–and is possibly linked to a bank robbery here at Citizens State Bank–was captured and taken into custody in Tallahassee Monday, according to Live Oak Police Chief Buddy Williams.
Kenneth Lamar Ellington, 45, of Quincy, allegedly entered both banks wearing a knitted hat, dark jacket, boots, a fake beard, mustache and wig, and robbed TD Bank and the First Federal Bank South Branch by passing a note to a teller. Reports indicate this scenario was similar to Perry’s bank robbery.
