Brown resigns as county administrator

Taylor County Administrator Jack Brown will soon leave his position here to take a new job as the Escambia County administrator.

The Taylor County Commission held a special meeting Monday afternoon during which Brown gave his formal notice to the board, which subsequently voted to offer Assistant County Administrator Dustin Hinkel a one-year contract to fill Brown’s role.
