A day at the Governor’s Mansion

When Florida’s First Lady Ann Scott visited Patsy Reams’ class at Perry Primary in December, she invited students to tour the Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee. The children, joined by parents and teachers from the school, happily took advantage of the invitation with a guided tour Thursday, April 18. “Students toured the Florida Room, the formal dining area which featured a huge chandelier the kids thought was full of diamonds. Mrs. Reams did a great job preparing her ‘champions’ for this adventure by having students study the job of the governor and first lady,” one parent reported.
