Fire claims home

A Taylor County family is dealing with the devastating loss of their home due to a fire which broke out Thursday, March 7.

County, city and volunteer firefighters battled the blaze at the residence located off Roberts Aman Road. According to reports at the scene, the home belongs to Todd and Nicole Ratliff. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the blaze.
