Hampton violates charter?

The Perry City Council started the month with a workshop covering Florida Sunshine laws and Code of Ethics regulations. Now, it seems members could be ending the month by having one of their own facing allegations of misconduct.

On Tuesday night, the council was to review actions taken by Councilwoman Shirlie Hampton regarding a personal request she made of City Attorney Ray Curtis for non-legal research as to how many cities had ATV parks. He was to present his findings in a written report.
