Bulldogs defeat Fla. High 8-6 in district tourney

The Taylor County High baseball team scored in nearly every inning Tuesday to defeat Florida High 8-6 and advance to the championship game of the district tournament being played this week in Tallahassee.

With the victory the Bulldogs (16-8) clinched a spot in the state playoffs and were scheduled to take on Godby (6-18) for the District 2, Class 4A  title Thursday night. Godby advanced to the championship game after defeating Madison 4-3 in Tuesday’s nightcap.
