Juniors, Seniors celebrate annual prom Saturday

Shangrila, the Land of Enchantment, comes to Taylor County High School Saturday for the annual junior-senior prom which begins
at 9 p.m. and concludes at 1 a.m.

Tickets are on sale in the front office of the school for $40.

The Boys and Girls Club of Taylor County will host “the official after-party” for this year’s prom. The club will open Sunday morning (following Saturday night’s prom) from 12:30 until 2 a.m., giving students a place to gather.

“We hope this will reduce the incidence of accidents on prom night,” organizers said.

Free food is promised for all who gather, along with door prizes and full access to the game room.
