‘Dogs out-hit Godby but fall 4-2 in district championship

The Taylor County High baseball team scored 2 runs in the first inning and out-hit Godby 6 to 4 but still came up on the short end of a 4-2 contest for the Class 4A, District 2 championship Thursday night at Godby.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs still qualified for the state regionals and will travel to District 1 champs West Florida High this Thursday at 6 p.m. (central time).
