Taylor County’s unemployment rate fell in March to 7.3 percent after two straight months at 7.6 percent.
The county’s rate jumped almost a half-percentage point in January, breaking a six-month downward trend before holding steady in February. March’s drop nearly wiped out January’s jump, leaving the unemployment rate close to December’s figure of 7.2 percent.
