After a week of grey skies and rain, Saturday afternoon’s bright sunshine was a welcome sight to the Morgan family.

It was the perfect sign for what was to be a perfect day–family and friends gathered to celebrate the wedding of daughter Amanda.

It was the kind of day Benjamin (Ben) Morgan particularly loved.

“He was close to his family. If I had to describe what his perfect day would have been, it would have been Saturday…all family, all friends, outside…a perfect day,” longtime friend Chris Lynn said.

Tragically, Morgan’s family and friends will also remember the day as their last with him. The 29-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash hours after the ceremony, as he was returning to his home at Ezell Beach.
