Monday is the final deadline for county candidates to qualify by petition method

As the first months of 2014 quickly pass by, looming election deadlines turn the focus to the coming General Primary slated Aug. 26.

Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland reminds potential candidates that Monday, May 19, is the final deadline to qualify by the (alternative) petition method; after that date, candidates will be required to pay the respective qualifying fees.
