Memorial Day salute

Taylor County Veterans Memorial Park will host a Memorial Day program Monday, May 26, honoring past and present members of the U. S. armed forces. (Left) Pam Feagle, coordinator of this year’s program, recently received a $500 donation from Georgia-Pacific to help cover event expenses. Dan Simmons, right, presented the check on behalf of GP. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Shade tents and chairs will be provided.
