Work is expected to begin this summer on a $431,000 renovation project at Forest Capital Hall and the Taylor County Commission is seeking a second state grant to help fund Phase II of the improvements.
Last fall, Taylor County applied for $215,550 in Florida Cultural Facilities Grant Program funds to help with the planned renovations at Forest Capital Hall. The project was ranked the number one proposal in the state out of 29 projects, many from much larger counties and municipalities.
