Close call

The driver of this mobile home-moving truck had a close call May 16 when the entire front cab and engine area caught fire. A unit from the City of Perry Fire Department arrived at the scene just minutes after the 911 dispatch and quickly extinguished the fire. The front dash, seats and engine area sustained heavy damage.
