Clara L. Slaughter, 87, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Tallahassee.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at the Ash Street Church of Christ.

Family members ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee FL 32308-5428.

Beggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
