The Taylor County School District fared well compared to surrounding counties as well as the state in most subject areas on end-of-course assessments, the results of which were released by the Florida Department of Education (DOE) Monday.
The Florida end-of-course (EOC) assessments are computer-based tests which measure the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) for specific courses, as dictated by the Florida Legislature, including Algebra I, Geometry, Biology I, U.S. History and Civics.
