$347,000 is awarded to city for downtown lake

The Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) has awarded the City of Perry a $347,000 grant which will fund the construction of a sprawling lake that will change the face of downtown forever.

City Manager Bob Brown shared the welcome news of the grant award during Tuesday’s night regular meeting of the Perry City Council.
