No local county offices on primary ballot

No local county offices will appear on the Aug. 26 primary ballot, with the majority of incumbents remaining unopposed at the close of the official qualifying period Friday, June 20.

Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland said there were no new additional candidates for the four school board and one county commission seats whose terms drew to a close this year.
