Steinhatchee will hold its annual 4th of July celebration this Friday with festivities beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the community center.
Food concessions will include hamburgers, red beans and rice, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, sausage with peppers and onions, boiled peanuts and more.
The Steinhatchee Garden Club will also have a “Garden Arts ‘N Treasures” sale inside the community center.
The bridge will close at 8:15 p.m. and the fireworks show will begin at 8:45 p.m. Traffice will be re-routed to U.S. 19 and boat traffic will be held in the river.
The traditional “Mullet Toss” will start at 5:30 p.m.
