Cantrell, Darton tie Valdosta State

Last Friday night Darton College, a team Perry native Savannah Cantrell plays for, faced off in a spring soccer game against a very competitive Valdosta State University.

It was a back and forth match in which Darton, a junior college team, played very well against the Division II VSU Blazers. Midway through the first half the Blazers took a 1-0 lead on a through ball that was knocked in the backside of the goal by an VSU player. That’s how the half ended.
