The Taylor County School District is bracing for the largest incoming kindergarten class in recent memory, forcing officials to consider shuffling several exceptional student education (ESE) classes from Perry Primary School (PPS) to Taylor County Elementary School (TCES).
Superintendent Paul Dyal said the incoming kindergarten class is the largest the district has seen in “many, many years,” and will require three additional teachers for the 2014-15 school year.
