Taylor unemployment rate remains steady

Taylor County’s unemployment rate remained relatively stableonce again in January, but with several other counties seeing increases, Taylor fell out of the worst 10 counties in Florida.

For the month, Taylor had the 12th highest unemployment rate at 9.1 percent, according to figures released by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) March 15.
