The Perry City Council is beginning its budget process for the 2014-15 fiscal year with a projected $430,000 deficit, setting a tentative property tax millage rate which would boost local property taxes if approved in September.
City Manager Bob Brown updated the council members on the budget during their meeting Tuesday.
