Traffic shifted to a temporary bridge on U.S. 27 over the Fenholloway River east of Perry Tuesday, July 29, where it will continue for the next several months while the existing bridge is removed and a new bridge constructed in its place. The temporary metal bridge built to the south of the existing bridge will allow U.S. 27 to remain open to traffic during the construction phase. The speed limit is reduced to 45 mph.
