Perry native issues order in congressional redistricting

The Florida Legislature reconvened for a special session Thursday to redraw two congressional districts after a Tallahassee judge ruled their boundaries, approved in 2012, violated the Florida Constitution.

Although the redistricting is not expected to impact Taylor County’s own Congressional District 2, currently represented by Steve Southerland, the county does have several connections to the issue.
