$39.9 million budget approved

The Taylor County District School Board approved its 2014-15 tentative budget last week during a public hearing at which no one from the public offered any comments.

The board approved its $39.9 million tentative budget along with its tentative property tax millage rates, which are set to stay the same, except for a slight increase in the required local effort millage, which is set by the state.
