School orientation times announced

The Taylor County School District has announced the days and times for orientations at each of its nine facilities. The 2014-15 school year begins Monday, Aug. 11, for teachers and Monday, Aug. 18, for students.

The orientations will be held:

• Head Start, Thursday, Aug. 14, from 1:30-3 p.m.

• Pre-K: Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5-7 p.m.

• Steinhatchee Early Childhood: Friday, Aug. 15, 1-3 p.m.

• Perry Primary School: Friday, Aug. 15, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

• Steinhatchee Elementary School: Friday, Aug. 15, 1-3 p.m.

• Taylor County Elementary School: Friday, Aug. 15, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

• Taylor County Middle School: Friday, Aug. 15, 1-3 p.m.

• Taylor County High School: Friday, Aug. 15, 1-3 p.m.

• Taylor County Career Academy (formerly ACE Program) at Taylor Technical Institute: Thursday, Aug. 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
