County seeking $50,000 for park improvements

The Taylor County Commission has agreed to submit an application to the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) for a $50,000 grant to fund improvements at Steinhatchee Community Center Park.

The commission held the second and final hearing on the grant Monday, Aug. 4, to solicit public comment and suggestions. County staff again recommended the commission pursue funding for the Steinhatchee park.
