‘Dogs show ‘fight’ in loss to Leon

Despite being outnumbered and out-manned by a much larger school, the Taylor County Bulldogs found plenty of positives to build upon following a 34-14 Kickoff Classic loss to Class 7A Leon Friday night in Perry.

Leon jumped out to a 20-0 lead at the first half before the Bulldogs battled the Lions to a 14-14 draw in the second half.
