Local coon hunters poised to take reality television by storm

From “American Idol” to “Deadliest Catch,” reality television has commandeered the airwaves, and if several local filmmakers have their way, the latest reality TV show will be set and filmed right here in Taylor County.

“Coon Country,” follows the “out-out war” when four teams of experienced coon hunters take to the woods.

Co-creator Anthony White said Oliver Bogner Entertainment and RealtivityReal has signed on to the project and they are currently filming footage for a “sizzle reel” which will be used to shop the concept to networks.
