With only two local races on Tuesday’s Primary Election ballot, voter turnout in Taylor County was significantly lower than other recent midterm elections.
Countywide, voter turnout was 19.4 percent, which is well below the 2010 primary election (32 percent turnout) and the 2006 primary election (39 percent).
