United Way gets $50,000 ‘jumpstart’

The Taylor County United Way campaign received a major jump-start Tuesday, with Georgia-Pacific giving the campaign team its $50,000 corporate gift.

The local team will officially kick off the 2014-15 campaign with a breakfast on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Taylor County Senior Center on Ash Street from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
