Two bands and six solo artists came to The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park last weekend prepared to win the WQHL 98.1 North Florida Country Showdown Final.
“The result was an evening of tremendous music, singing, fun and nail biting as they competed against each other with top performances,” Susan K. Lamb said. “It took a second round where five acts were chosen to compete one last time before judges would select a winner. Palatka’s own band, 309C, was named the winner while the audience went wild, and 309C’s onstage competitors ran up to congratulate the popular band.”
