Ratliff named MVP; Hops win league championship

Taylor Ratliff of Perry led his Class A Hillsboro (Oregon) Hops team to the Northwest League baseball championship last
weekend.

The speedy leadoff hitter went 6-for-15 (.400) during the post season, scoring 6 runs in the best-of-three series. The Hops defeated Vancouver 7-5 on Saturday and 4-3 in Sunday’s game.
