Deming elected mayor

Fellow Perry City Council members elected Mike Deming as mayor Tuesday night. Councilwoman Venita Woodfaulk was named vice mayor. After presiding over his first meeting as mayor, Deming put his signature on numerous ordinances and resolutions passed during the session.
