Several people reported seeing this waterspout off the coast of Keaton Beach shortly after noon on Monday. The twister lasted around 10 to 15 minutes before dissipating. Thunderstorms have been moving through the area much of the week, dropping large amounts of rain and producing frequent lightning. The National Weather Service station at Perry-Foley Airport has recorded more than three-and-a-half inches of rain since Monday morning.
