Kenyon wins country showdown

After months of competition in the largest country music talent search in America, Florida selected its winner last weekend at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak.

The winner was Nate Kenyon, 24, a singer, songwriter and guitarist of Baxley and Statesboro, Ga., who had earlier won the WAAC of Valdosta, Ga., competition.
