82 anglers take part in tourney

The trout were biting this past weekend as 82 anglers fished the third annual fall trout fishing tournament put together by the Taylor County Tourism Development Council.

It took 12.10 pounds for the winning stringer of five trout for Jason Witherspoon and Paul Wilson of Valdosta, Ga.  The top trout was 4.46 pounds for Kala Hobbs of Lenox, Ga. The winning redfish was caught from Steinhatchee by Jeff Evans.
